I grew up in the south where things often didn't make sense and there was always a touch of magic. There was a fine line between the seen and the unseen. I began to realize the more I relaxed and allowed life to happen, some infinite intelligence could work its wonder. Synchronistic happenings then led me to leave the south, to attend the University of Hawaii and then to California. It led me to a party where I won a raffle ticket for an acupuncture treatment from one of the great Chinese herbalist in the treatment of HIV early in the epidemic.- the beginning of my love of this art. It led me back east to school, to friends and teachers and to the farm where I currently live with my family outside of Washington DC. It has led me to you. Welcome. 

For almost 40 years I have practiced acupuncture. I fell in love with its vastness, its poetry and its ability to meet the full expression of who you are - love experiencing itself as acute injury, trauma, chronic pain, confusion, joy, wonder and delight - all equal, all deserving to be welcomed. Perhaps you need to gather the resources for physical well-being. Perhaps you need to release stories and stagnation held in your joints. Perhaps you are ready to embrace  a new way of living your life, leaving behind the old patterns and thoughts that no longer serve you. Welcome  

Acupuncture is an ancient art with profound modern day application. As never before we are learning the interrelationship of all things, from body mind spirit wellness to social and environmental sustainability. This is the foundation of acupuncture. As a system it is a profound pointer to what is the true nature of healing.

I have been an acupuncturist for almost 40 years. I've been an animal acupuncturist for over 35. For over 10 years I had direct apprenticeship with an ancient lineage. I've been practicing Equine Positional Release for more than 15 years. I've studied Cranial Sacral and homeopathy. And now I work with the truth of healing as Resonant Attention. 

I have deep respect and honor for each of these modalities. They have trained me to be still, listen deeply and understand that the intelligence of nature so far exceeds what any modality can capture. We are each born with and as this intelligence and we each have the capacity to create our lives from this understanding, and our innate capacity for self healing. It is to this I find my passion, my dedication and my deep desire for each person to come to know for themselves. 

We live in a culture where outsourcing is the technology of our times. Cultural manipulation, destruction of community and values and the dominance and destruction of nature leave us susceptible to the massively funded programming of images to reinforce a belief and experience that without medical intervention, we will not survive. Not only is there no longer an understanding of the body's design and absolute capacity to self correct imbalances, resolve trauma and to be resilient in the face of negative influences, fear is skillfully used to reduce people to followers. We have forgotten that we are sovereign beings, inseparable from nature and each other. Knowledge of and access to what nature provides for us to thrive, create beauty and embody more love on this planet is suppressed. We are at the turning point in humanity's story and it is up to us to write the next chapter. Reclaiming freedom for how we choose to heal and care for our bodies is essential.

I have studied with amazing teachers of different traditions. My practice is the result of how they live alongside my natural gifts. These gifts bring me here in full support of each person waking up to the miracle of life within their own body and the wondrous beauty of the interbeing of all things. I am in service to this remembrance for all.
